Information
How many session will I need?
It depends on the individual and what your needs are.
If you were having treatment for self-care and general well-being then I would suggest you continue to tune in to how you are feeling on a physical, emotional and mental level and notice if there are signs (stress, tension, physical symptoms, poor sleep etc) that you may be needed some extra support and would benefit from a session.
If you are working through something significant at the time, perhaps you are under more stress than normal (either mental, emotional or physical stress) then I would suggest that you have at least 3 sessions over the course of 5-6 week period to help provide you with the support you need so you can move through your current situation feeling more calm, at peace, less reactive and feeling emotionally supported.
With this in mind, this is why I created the Energy Healing Reset Package to offer my clients a 3-session package at a special discounted price.
What should I expect in a Reiki/ energy healing session?
1. Consultation
I start the sessions with a consultation to identify what your priorities are and if there is anything specific you would like support with emotionally, physically or mentally. If it's an initial consultation you would have completed a wellness assessment before your appointment which looks at your mind body and soul health.
2. Session Plan
Based on what you have shared with me I will discuss some suggested energy therapies I feel would best support you and make sure you are happy and comfortable with these.
They may include reiki, chakra balancing, emotional clearing, crystals, crystal elixirs or homeopathic remedies, and sound healing with tuning forks or sound bowls.
3. Treatment
For the actual treatment, you will be fully clothed and lying on the massage table with a light blanket. Most people have their eyes closed for the duration of the treatment.
I often start working above your body so you won't feel my hands and then move into reiki which is a gentle hands-on practice. If you are sensitive to touch I can work above the body.
Depending on what we have discussed for your treatment I may also include tuning forks, crystal sound bowls and other energies therapies within the session
4. Completion of your session
Once your Reiki/ energy healing session has come to an end we will sit down for a brief chat and discuss anything that came up during your session along with any post-session care I feel is appropriate which may include some homeopathic remedies for emotional support.

What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is a therapy that is used all over the world for its ability to help calm the nervous system and in doing so helping to restore balance to the body. It's often used in hospitals in their wellness centres for its ability to support people's overall well-being.
Supports the Autonomic Nervous System
Reiki helps to reduce stress and calm the nervous system. When our nervous system is calm and balanced state our bodies can do what they are naturally designed to do and function at an optimal level. But when we are stressed our nervous system priorities and resources particular systems in our body (required for survival) and other systems in our body have reduced functions. When our body is in a state of distress for a long period it will impact our digestive, immune and endocrine systems and cognitive abilities just to name a few.
