When we notice something that is uncomfortable in our body (emotionally or physically) we often reach for a quick fix or bandaid. Something to disguise the discomfort (or symptoms) we are feeling. ⁠

Be aware that the physical or emotional discomfort that we notice is a sign that we need to tune in and bring self-awareness to the area that needs to be healed. It may be as simple as intentionally sending love and forgiveness to a situation. What we need to heal is within us. It's surrender, acceptance, empathy, letting go, forgiveness. It's not trying to control the situation but using things external to us to turn down the noise and dull the sensations that are really trying to guide and help us.⁠
