Essentials oils have been used for thousands of years for their incredible health benefits. By separating the oils of the plant you are extracting most powerful and healing part of the plant into a single bottle.
When applied topically essential oils have the ability to pass through your skin ‘transdermally which means they can pass through your skin and into your circulation system and cells. Whereas when essential oils are diffused or inhaled the vapor of essential oils travels to your body via the nasal passage and into the olfactory system in the brain (which is where your sense of smell is processed).
Once in your body, the compounds in essential oils have the ability to protect and support your body in various ways such as immune support, mental and emotional health. Many essential oils have anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, antibacterial, anti-viral, antispasmodics and antimicrobial compounds that can help support your immune system.
These are my personal recommendations if you are looking for some natural ways to support your immune and respiratory health.
